Summertime in the city means it's rooftop season! Haven is located on the top of the Sanctuary Hotel and offers stunning views above the city in the theater district.

I chose this place since it was a few blocks from the theater of our Broadway show. The vibe is very boho chic. Beautiful macrame details are found is almost all the decor.

Craft cocktails and american cuisine are offered in the dinning area and there is a small bar area with a DJ spinning for happy hour. My drink of choice was the solstice - I felt it only appropriate considering it was first day of summer! It has Tito's Vodka, Strawberry Puree, Peach Liqueur, Prosecco - light and refreshing!

You could also get a variety of beers, wine by the glass or bottle and enjoy some great appetizers with a stunning view! Full menu available too if you have the time.

My waiter was great, attentive and friendly.  DJ had good beats.  Food was okay, who am I kidding, I'll never eat here again !!  Do not recommend here to dine at all; especially if you have guests.

Pizza is very doughy if you like that.  I called to confirm my res for 3 was in place, normally a nice restaurant will call and confirm my res.  They told me my res was canceled, I told them I never canceled it and someone from their Corp office made my res for me on my behalf.  So... I'm glad I called to confirm, strike 1.

Small piece of Salmon, and spinach is about $30.  My guest hated her salmon, btw.  Double Crown is $30.  No real view from rooftop. Everyone did a great job with customer service from the lobby to the restaurant except the Manager walked around with attitude, had a pretentious air.  He stopped by my table looked around and walked away.  Smile buddy and say hello to your customers, it's called hospitality 101. Still gave a 25% tip, not the waiter or bartenders fault the manager acts that way or that the food needs help.

This place deserves ZERO stars !! From the watered down drinks , to the bad service all the way to the distasteful food ... I would never recommend this place !
I think people get drawn to it because it's "a rooftop " but to be honest, the view wasn't all that great.

Skip on this place ! Much better rooftops out there , with better food and cocktails .

I would give Haven Rooftop more than 5 stars if I could! Came here for brunch on a Sunday a few weeks ago and had a great experience. We made a reservation on Open Table for 1:30 but ended up getting there early (around 1 or 1:15) and the table was already ready for us. We expected to have to wait since we were early for our reservation but we  did not! The rooftop itself is really nice. There are some tables in the center and lounge areas on both sides. I'd recommend going to the lounge area in the front, because where the tables is does not have the best view.

I got the breakfast pizza and my friend got the avocado toast. We also got the bottomless mimosas. The breakfast pizza was amazing and I definitely recommend getting that! I would love to come back and get that pizza! It has bacon and tomato and 2 eggs on top! So delicious! The avocado toast also looked good. The bottomless mimosas was an amazing deal! Do not let them talk you into getting a pitcher of a different drink instead! The bottomless mimosa was perfect! Our server was very attentive with refilling our glasses. At one point our glasses were empty for a while since she was busy, so she added the time back into the end of our hour. Our 1 hour basically ended up turning into 2 since we were there around 3, when brunch ends. I think they were trying to get rid of the leftover mimosas, so she refilled again after our hour was up.

I am surprised at posts on yelp saying that this was a bad brunch experience. I had an awesome time and would love to come for brunch again, or even for dinner and see what it is like here at night!

While visiting NYC we wanted to find a rooftop bar to visit near Times Square so we stumbled upon this place while looking on Yelp. We were excited to hear that they take reservations on Opentable so we made one on there. I loved the decorations at this rooftop!

We got there a few minutes before our reservations and they said it would be a few more minutes. She said to head to the bar and she would grab us when our table was ready. Luckily someone was just leaving when we got there so we grabbed their seats at the bar. We ended up ordering some drinks while we waited for our table. We both ended up getting the sangria which was delicious! Made fresh with fresh fruit in it and was not too sweet at all! It actually took them about 20 mins longer then our reservation to get our table. Since we had our seats at the bar we weren't upset about waiting but if we didn't we probably would of been upset.

When we finally got our table we had an amazing server! She was very sweet and told us how bad she felt that we had to wait so long for our table. She was very on top of it and we ordered our food right away. We decided to get a meat and cheese plate to share to go with our sangrias! The food came out fairly quickly and was a large amount. We loved all the cheese and meats that came out with the plate. Our favorite was the truffle cheese and the prosciutto.

Although we had to wait longer for our table we still had a great experience here! Great food, beautiful vibes, and more! Can't wait to come back next time I'm in NYC! :)
